You Had Me at TACOS

But really.

You had me at tacos.

Britt from Snap Therapy and I geared up to go taco shop hopping. Yes you heard right, taco shop HOPPIN’

First stop, Cafe Bueno.

Home of authentic Mexican food.

Located in the outskirts of Downtown Frederick, Maryland in a strip mall next to a laundromat. Never underestimate a location!

Before we get to the good stuff, I want to mention how amazing the service was. The workers were friendly and fast. The place was very casual, colorful, and your typical taco shop.  Just simple, local, and chill.

Now the good stuff, them tacos.

Boy oh boy was I in for a treat! The fish tacos, hands down were my favorite. There was this green sauce that came with it, maybe it was salsa verde. Whatever it was, it was deliiiiish. I mean like, really delicious. Not really the one to try new sauces, but something came across me this day and I am so glad it did.

All of their sauces are freshly made in-house. Honestly, does it get much better than this?

The picture above shows you just how much I enjoyed myself at Cafe Bueno. I will be going back there frequently.

Next stop, Taco Bar.

Here we have the total opposite. I would say this is place was more dark. There was apothecary and greenery decor.

Very pretty and great vibes. Located in Frederick , on the “golden mile.” The Taco Bar is newer. So far it has been a huge hit and I can see why. The food is tasty and everything about the restaurant is amazing.

Yea yea this is supposed to be all about tacos, but c’mon I cannot leave out the guacamole (if only y’all could hear the way I sang this in my head). Alright, for real this guac gave me life. LIFE my friends, l-i-f-e. I may just be going back everyday to get some. There was this sweetness to it. It was just… perfect. On point. And all the above. Get you some!

So I’m sippin’ on my Jarritos, eyeing the salsa bar. At this shop, the tacos are ordered by just choosing the meat, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. Then boom, my order was up and I headed over to this handy dandy bar to add the rest of my toppings.

As much as I wanted to just throw everything on there, I went easy and only added a couple things.

Another big hit, but ya girl isn’t stopping here. Stay tuned for my next taco adventure.

Surround yourself with tacos, not negativity.

Stay humble. Hustle hard. Eat tacos.
