If you find yourself comparing, remember this

We’re all on a different path.

Simple as that.

Comparison can be intentional where it’s direct thoughts or unintentional where over time we allow others to shape our decisions and actions. This is why self-awareness is so important.

  1. Check in with yourself from time to time. Dig deep. Ask yourself if you are staying true to who you really are. Is your souls’ purpose being fulfilled? Are you doing this for you- like, truly and honestly?
  2. Realize that checking in with other people isn’t benefitting you. You see someone else’s success? Congratulate them but don’t let their success define your path. Check in with yourself, not others. You are living your life. And they are living theirs. There is something inside of each of us that the world needs. Going after someone else dreams or following certain steps because someone else did, won’t help you out boo. Find what is for you. Go inside of you. Look inside and look up, not around. Meaning look to your soul and pray to God, instead of everyone else around you.

Don’t confuse inspiration with comparison.
