I know, I know I’m long overdue on updating you all about our living space. I have these huge plans for it and they’re nowhere near finished. I mean the pictures in this post are not even the finished product, but I wanted to go ahead and give y’all a lil sneak peek.
- My home is my space.
- Decorating is an outlet for me.
These are the biggest reasons it’s taking me awhile to get everything together. Its been such a fun process seeing it all slowly, but surely come along. From spending hours in the store to brainstorming around Pinterest, my mind is thrilled with genuine passion for turning our apartment into a bohemian palace.
It’s the creative process.
It’s the fact that when I walk inside my house, I instantly light up.
It’s when others come over and they automatically feel the love as well.
The idea is turn our tiny space into something big and beautiful.
The bohemian palace.
Urban Walls is where the wall decal came from.
Other items that you will find in our living room and kitchen are macrame, plants, and crystals.
*Both Urban Walls and Rustics By TL have sponsored this post by providing me with their products in exchange for review, but please know that I chose these items myself and I truly love them.*
With wall decals you can upgrade any space. Seriously, take a moment to mark this link to look at later. It’s the Urban Walls website. You can see plenty of examples on their Instagram too, by clicking here. The thing about these decals is that no matter if it’s an apartment or a home, you can use these! Even in an office space because guess what?! They peel off! When you’re ready to upgrade or you’re moving to a new place, you can just peel these bad boys off no problem.
- Find a spot that’s “just missing something”
- Choose 1-3 designs that you like on the website
- Put just one design up or all three. I saw someone on their IG incorporate both polka dots and flowers so definitely think outside of the box and don’t limit yourself to just one design.
- When your design arrives on your porch, open it up, and make sure you know exactly where you want it to go before actually legit sticking them on the wall!
And like I said this is just the beginning.
I’ll be sure to come on here and post updated pictures at the end of this post, but for now please let me know your thoughts. I would love to see how this post has inspired you to make your own space a castle, a palace, or whatever your heart desires.
