Most of us have a bubble we’ve created that defines what we should look like and how we should live so when we see someone not fitting into that bubble, we judge them.
Some of us have insecurities, doubts, and fears of our own so seeing someone else shine in their confidence brings us to hate them.
With that being said, remember that when someone is trying to dim your light it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with them. You know yourself, love yourself, and openly express yourself… keep doing that!
You aren’t too loud.
You aren’t too much.
You aren’t too bold.
You aren’t dreaming too big.
You are you and never let anyone take that away from you… which is a whole lot easier said than done amiright? Yes, you’re confident. You have days where you’re feeling yourself but you also have days where you’re hard on yourself, the words of others are digging into you deep, and that self-love isn’t coming through. That is ok.
Don’t let one bad moment or bad day turn into your whole life.
- Tap into that awareness. Take notes of your thoughts to see when you’re feeling low.
- Flip it, reverse it, and twerk it bebby.
- Give yourself grace and let this give you momentum.
