“Bloom where you are planted.”

See a flower does not get to choose where it is planted, yet it will still bloom. If we took on life in that perspective, there would be a lot less pain.


Something doesn’t go the way you expected? Your plan fails? A heartbreak occurs?

Laugh through it. Smile through it. Push through it. Most of all, appreciate it all.


See we need to start learning to appreciate every emotion rather than regretting, hating, and dreading it. As cliché as it may sound, everything happens for a reason. So with whatever happens, let it happen.

  1. Realize that it happened.
  2. Understand you have no control over it.
  3. Continue living your life, but this time with a little more pep in your step.


The Shrug Affect

We can let the smallest of things affect our day: being stuck in traffic, not finding an outfit, bad hair day, cancellation of plans, someone eating your leftovers that you dreamed of eating all day long, and whatever else.

Instead of letting it build up, shrug it off.  Say no to letting things that, in the grand scheme of thing, do not matter get you so upset. Seriously, next time you feel yourself starting to let something steal your day and steal your happiness, shrug.
